HONORS PHYSICS EXPECTATIONS
To be perfectly honest, I am only interested in learning physics in order to understand the jokes on Big Bang Theory. Just kidding, it was more of an afterthought than a reason. In all seriousness though, I opted to take honors physics mainly in order to have a fundamental knowledge on the way the world works. As you said during class, we live in a world of magic. The idea of how and why the universe came into existence is a fascinating subject that we might never know for sure. Another reason is the one that you repeatedly state, we are amazing at memorizing things (I happen to be an exception because I have a horrible memory), but we're not able to think. From this class, from having you as a teacher, I hope to have not only a new outlook on the world, but I develop the ability to "think," to be able to get out of the paper bag.
